Well, I bought a Naish Impact Harness a year ago, but used it for the first time yesterday. I sailled out and realized it was constricting my breathing. Perhaps, I'm too fat for it. Perhaps it will work for me when I have nothing but a rashguard underneath. It had tons of flotation, but I have enough of that in my wetsuit. As to the best waterstarting aide, buy a Waterstarter by Chinook, it will be the best $ 25 investment you will make. isobars wrote: |
Have you tried the DaKine XT Seat? It supports your back clear up to your shoulder blades. It's all I've used for years. I can't use waist harnesses; they set my back on fire in one reach.
\m/ | I've often been advised that a seat was better for the back so I bought the Zeiner Impact Seat and used it for years. However, when I started using the Dakine Tabou (a kiting harness) last season, my back troubles have been minimal. I know if I lost the beer belly, they would be non-existent if I use the crank when I put in heavy down-haul. |
