The contractor who installed the sand bag ramps was supposed to fix the stabilize the areas that are slipping today but was apparently turned away by the police due to an investigation into the death of a homeless person. No word yet on the reschedule date, but hopefully soon and hopefully no foul play in the park.

Looks like it was a bike accident.

That is really sad.
If you ride a bike or motorcycle, I do both, along airport blvd. use a lot of caution. There is a lot of debris, especially loose gravel on the road from all the construction.
I am sure everyone knows but the access from Peninsula is closed, they have built the ramp up and shut the access off. Haven't been able to find when it will re-open, anyone know? |

The detour is scheduled for May 12-23. Hope they get done on time. _________________ mo |
