You Sauble Beach regulars - what's the best place to launch at Sauble Beach? Thanks. Laughing

I'm not a regular, but have been there about 7 times. Usually on a north wind I launch at the very north end of the beach where the waves are somewhat smaller and then sail a bit downwind to the bigger waves.

On a south wind I have launched right out in front of the main street of town. However, I think most of the people were launching even further south at the very south end of the beach.

Finally, when the wind is too out of control or the waves too large, I have gone north to Oliphant and sailed among the kiters. It is very shallow there so a small fin is needed

I plan to going this Sunday afternoon / Monday morning. Do you? Anyone else?

Best wishes Very Happy

Ok--good luck. It is usually worth the trip, but I have been skunked a couple of times too.
