Was anybody at Leo yesterday? It looks like it kicked in around 6pm. Was it as good as the graph shows from 6 to 8pm? |

I don't know about yesterday, but it kicked in for a nice flat-water sail for you Leo sailors today, eh? From what I could tell from the beach, everyone had fun on everything from a 5.7M to 8.0M sail. I probably would have been o.k. on my 5.8, but chose to do a little guitar playing instead. It was nice down at the beach no matter what one was doing. |

We went to Jalama and........did not find any wind.
But we did pull Satan from the depths below. Maybe that is why there was no wind.

That's a big old Sheepshead (Yes?). I understand that they're very tasty and that the flesh is very flaky and challenging to keep together while cooking. That's a nice 'un alright. Congrat's.
There were a few divers at Leo the other day. They came up with a nice bunch of fish. Apparently the bite's been on, eh? |

I never had one myself so I can't comment on the taste.
After the day of fishing we ate the Jalama burger then drove home to beat the SB afternoon traffic. So no time for a 45 minute stogie.
As for the divers at Leo, they are probably after the WSB. The world record came out of the same area last year, or there abouts.
There is something else that you might find interesting. I don't know which angle you travel at Jalama, but right now, there is no kelp!
For what ever reason, it is not there. The thick kelp paddy that you normally see when driving down to Jalama is gone. It made it easier on us to paddle, not sure how it would affect the windsurfers. Then again, you guys are too cheap to drive up there for a session anyways.
When I finally made it home, 2.5 hours later, I smoked the CAO Brizilia while I cleaned fish.
