Philosophically, Brucie, you haven't gotten it for decades, if ever.

I was in Connecticut visiting family all day yesterday. I left around 9:00 am, posted here before I left. I don't know why it shows the post at 12:30.
I'm posting this at 9:35 am Sunday. I'll see what time the post says. _________________ http://waterloggedbyscooper.blogspot.com/ |

O.K. so we're on Greenwhich Mean Time here. Apparently, you have to subtract 4 hours to get our local time on the east coast. _________________ http://waterloggedbyscooper.blogspot.com/ |

Your're right - I was off on the time.
I broke a Cardinal rule the other day. Getting cold before sailing. Striping down to my underware in a cold 49F rain.
Hand numbness took a little of the thrill out of it..

Due to time constraints we didn't sail the Cape Cod Bay beaches. Instead we choose a site that was only a 5 minute drive versus 30 minutes to get to Corporation beach.
If you do a map search with 190 strong island road, chatham, ma you can see the town landing we launched out of. Once you make your way to the north side of strong island it's nothing but flat water and speed runs. We called it a day around noon time when someone turned off the wind switch. High tide was around noon as well and a lot of the area was waist to chest deep.

Ron, you have been living on the Cape for a long time would you say that this has been an abnormal spring? I thought last year was normal, but the Beach Doc said it was better than normal for winds. |
