Now, Nealpar's photo emphasis in response to JP's thread elsewhere on "Apres Windsurfing" activities got me thinking, and particularly about her challenge of sorts focused on spirited fun (on Gregor's spirited thread), this would be an interesting view of windsurfing, between northern and southern California scenes.

The view that my place is better than yours could take on a new friendly dimension. Let's think about creating a style, character, or focus on things that may say more about our local scene, and maybe a better insight our overall character. I'm thinking on a more positive vain here.

An creative and artistic flare could say a lot more (from my experience here, many have been sharing some great stuff). No doubt I think that the outgrowth could be interesting, especially since it might better relate to windsurfing. and to what we share in the experience. For some, maybe better than some of the recent political threads here (yet, I still enjoy them too).

What do you folks think?

Nealpar's clever and humerous photo in response to my Apres Windsurfing photo showed considerable artistic talent as well as a trip to Longs drugstore. I only hope that after taking the picture she placed those items back on the store shelves rather than leaving the basket on the floor someplace for the store management to put away. Confused

The intent of my post was to see what others do to complete their windsurfing sessions, a basking in the afterglow kind of thing (like a cigarette after sex?) but instead most of the comments where critical of my choice of light beer versus the regular stuff. I suppose given my mostly sarcastic comments on other posts that I had these coming. Embarassed

As to the content of Nealpar's photo I have to say that those products are definitely part of my post windsurfing session process. Usually a couple of Ibu's before going to bed help with the headache from the tequila as well as the soreness from WS. Having a hot tub also helps. Smile Of course, the intent of Nealpar's response was to make a personal jab at my age (you're no spring chicken yourself honey) but the truth is it really isn't as much to do with age as it is with activity. Rather than give in to the idea that over 50 people should limit their activities to hitting a golf ball and then chase after it in a cart, beer in hand, we continue to do the things we loved to do at a younger age. Surfing, windsurfing, skiing, mountain bike riding, dirt bike riding all help a person stay young. Modern meds help to continue those activities.

It's not the years, it's the mileage. Laughing
