Does anyone know any good windsurfing vacation spots in march where I could get lessons?
it would have to be somewhere resonabley close with good weather in late march....[/i]

concur that corpus...or better yet..SPI (for a real south of the border tropical vacation) would be killer in March...but....and there is always a but... Spring break is going off on the texas south coast in MArch..fun but crazy and very expensive for hotels ... on a side note..if you can swing it, late november into mid december is freakin awesome at SPI, 75 degree sunny weather,75 degree water temps,, south winds usually 15-25 ...often stronger.with several good NW days at boca chica..and the fishing is Fantastic that time of year (red fish, pompano, spanish makeral, trout, shark, blue fish,etc...)

Hateras, FL, SPI are good for driving destinations. Timing is everything in FL Best time is near the end of Sept til early Nov, then late Feb to late May. Oceanside allows, some years, better prolonged clearing winds after the fronts.
