1st Florence Invitational Wave Contest This Weekend- Be the

Although I realize the original Florence Wave Contest kind of fizzled
when a wet blanket was thrown over it by someone depriving the
organizer of plausible deniability, this weekend's forecast looks
perfect: 25 knots and 6-7 feet! If it holds, I recommend a group of
us non-litigation inclined wavesailors meet at Florence on Saturday,
sail our asses off, and then meet at Azatlan Mexican restaurant and
vote on who ripped it up the hardest for their particular skill
level. There would even be a couple of "gifts" for the winner(s). If
the forecast goes unfavorable we'll re-post, but right now I'd say we
are yellow (more like light-green) lighted.
