Is that all they're paying for lead actors these days? Better keep the day job...
I sure there's some Maui guys/gals that would be interested, but you'll have to pay for air fare too. I would think the wind in Maui would be much better this time of year too. |

And they didn't say that the actors would be paid if they showed up and the wind didn't. Could take several days to earn that "daily" rate. |

Frankly, i'd be surprised if anyone showed up at noon, including the wind
(athough some light wind looks like it made a late curtain call at 2pm).
Starving actors usually can't afford expensive sports like windsurfing.
Professional windsurfers would be the most likely interested, but most have moved to windy places where the sponsors are, like Maui or the gorge. |

Personally, I showed up at Leo Carillo thinking it was Cabrillo. Of course it was total Chaos when I went out in my speedos and tried to play the instructor. I followed the script, helping the heroin get her "sea legs" as we fell in. She came up holding a flounder, beating me with it.
The camera crew turned out to be Jerry Springer and some Japanese tourists. |

The make-up crew would need a whole case of tanning spray to get rid of
those "wetsuit tan lines" |
