What a total pantload! The virtual smell of it is quite overwhelming about now.

"Poor isobars, the wronged victim here, and severely brutalized by the liberal/socialist public on the internet, for literally no reason at all.

Oh my God! Pillared cruelly and consistently while posting with such honor and distinction. Just look at the credentials of your past fame and renown that you've bragged about forever. How could anybody resort to such untoward public behavior, particularly with such a brilliant example of the perfect, reserved and remarkable right wing fringe like you?"

Lies? You may want to get some handle on reality here. You've done nothing honorable here with your nonsense. Your rude and course displays are quite notable (when reviewed, actual facts unquestionably prove that out).

Absolutely no one here has more inches of shear nonsense posted on this forum then you. It's an absolute and unquestionable fact. When it comes to the number of posts (regardless of the locale), and their untoward length, you're certainly top dog. Just measure it dude!

Unfortunately, much of it is total nonsense, and many here certainly recognize it for just that.

Sorry dude, you lose!

I have asked isobars politely to not address me directly. I examined the archives and found the things he is saying to be inaccurate. One can count the number of insults from him in this thread alone to get an idea of whether in all his thousands of posts there are less than

I would like him to leave me alone. I post here for fun and this kind of behavior is not enjoyable to many, certainly not me. Same for the others who engage in bitter nonsense.
Some very informative and intelligent stuff is being debated, but one guy is making it a drag for many others. This is a smart guy who surely knows better and he and some others could show a good bit more class if they chose.
I am nobodies whipping boy, and do not take orders from Mike.

Its amazing how many thoughtful well written posts are in this particular forum , then I read isobars and it sticks out like a turd. Im in financial biz, and today when the Fed didnt lower rates the whole NYSE floor was booing. The Old Boys Club was looking for a freebee on the floor , hoping Gentle Ben would spark some action with more free money. The last few years in the markets exposed the greatest political hypocrisy of all time, that of the "free" markets. Any libertarian like "isobars" claims to be should be enraged to the point of hyperventillation, but he's OK with it because he thinks the world would come to an end if AIG were allowed to fail.
ISO, anytime you want to come out your little shell up there in the Tri-Cities , or wherever the hell you live , and actually speak the truth on the economy and the markets , I would welcome it.

Regarding McCain's skin cancer problems, it quite important to keep in mind that there are basically 3 different kinds of skin cancer, with the absolute worst and most deadly being melanoma. Well, McCain has had melanoma in his past. That's not to say it wasn't successfully removed, but the way melanoma can metastasize and spread through the body is well recognized. In my view it would be foolish to assume that McCain's potential health risks couldn't be a problem sometime in the near future. Without a doubt, McCain's selection of Palin as VP is very deeply troubling. He may need her to win the Republican Christian right wing vote, the potential position he would be putting this country in in the future is scarier than hell.

Are YOU a M.D. ?????

P.S. YEAH! Deep trouble for Obama!

No but he did stay at a Holiday Inn last night.

Folks from other countries ask me questions about American Conservatives and patriotism. They often hear conservatives accuse liberals of “hating their country”, “wanting to give America away to the terrorists” “..mostly Commies who undermine our country” and worse. Those who study the US are well aware that we are probably the most patriotic country on earth. Americans of all kinds- Christian and Muslim, street bum and millionaire, criminals and prophets, almost all are willing to risk their lives in the real defense of our country. It is one of the few pervasive facts about our diverse culture. It is used against us very effectively by our leaders who want to attack countries that pose little threat in order to further private agendas. It is used to disguise all manner of BS by wrapping it in the flag so it doesn’t smell. We are so patriotic- Left and Right -that it almost always works on us. In other countries people ask me “Who is dumb enough to believe that obsessive patriotic American Liberals are mainly traitors trying to give away the country to the enemy” I answer “mostly those who listen to Talk Radio, and they number in the millions, including some of my relatives. Many of them also read National Inquirer and think Fox is unbiased straight talk”

They're doing their homework: an L.A. liberal think tank study rated Fox News' Brit Hume -- Fox's flagship news program -- as one of the least biased news shows on television.

It's really a shame that the Demo's are blaming the Rep's for this economic mess we are in. They really should stand up & take the credit for their actions. Anyone who looks at the history of how we got to where we are, can clearly see that the last major changes to institutional finance reform came under a Demo controlled Congress & signed in to law by Pres Clinton. It was all done at the industry's request, so they 'could be more efficient'. It took a few years of working with the new laws to get to this mess. While I'm no Bush fan, he stood little to no chance of reversing these changes under a Demo controlled Congress
We are doomed to repeat history if we don't learn by it !
Look at what they have actually done ! It is the BEST indicator of how they will perform.
(Has Obama written ANY major legislation?..... no, but he has written his memoirs... where are his priorities ?)
