I know a few private pilots made the journey from SD, Southern CA, and SF, uneventfully. This Spring, a private pilot affiliated with Solosports flew me down and back from SD on a Cesna 172 smoothly. Other bigger four - six passenger planes arrived and departed without incident.
The pilots affiliated with Solosports have been making regular trips. My colleague just went in September and had a great time.
Depart: SD - Ensenada: custom check/fuel (short)
Ensenada - PSC
Return: PSC - Ensenada: custom check
Ensenada - SD
Accommodation: camping or with Solosports
Gear: Solosports or have people bring them down |
