We've got an RV in Hood River that wants to go down to Ramon's in Los Barilles, but we don't have the time to do it. She's older but a real creampuff and baja vet. If you're interested I'll hook you up with the owner.

HAHA that is true about wyatt's van being held together by skateboard wheels. i was there when it happened.

as far as ticket costs, i have found a couple that are around 500$ round trip. that is into la paz. it is cheaper if you go to cabo, but a long bus ride to la ventana. about 3 hours or so, maybe more.

I dont know about the RV. If I had a couple other people to do it with me, I would seriously consider it. I think it would be cheaper to fly than to pay for gas in an RV though.

True dat. 6 mpg definitely puts a pinch in the pocketbook. But: Your airline ticket wont get you to San Quintin, San Carlos, Abreojos, LA Bay, and everywhere in between...

Just sayin.

for laventana peeps: can you get WiFi from the campground? I'm thinking of heading down in January for a month, but need to "work" once in awhile.
