Recently I installed an F2 stainless adjustable mast track pin on a
Chinook mast cup and boge thinking it would fit a Mistral board.
However, it didn't. I'ld like to know which boards it does fit. I
have gleaned that it probably fits Fanatic mast tracks in that it was
the same company. I'm including a photograph and linking this message on other boards.

i had a couple of those back in the early 90s. i had a used F2 lightning which accepted that pin in the adjustable mast track. i was also able to get an adapter that screwed into any short board type mast track (an F2 product) which allowed me to use the F2 extensions to sail my little gear.
the drawback to the adapter was it raised the rig off the deck, and it allowed for another point of failure. one of my friends had one of those adapters let go on him in hatteras. he had quite the shlepp getting back to the house. i was able to ressurect my wife's old mistral escape with one of those pins. the diameter of the pin worked fine, but there is a bit of up and down play in it. the notch in the F2 pin does not match the old mistral exactly.

USAM1 Thanks for the reply. I figured that this universal will fit the lightening. However, I wonder if it will fit any other F2 boards. Yes, alas, it resembles but doesn't fit Mistral tracks. However, I do think that it might fit Fanatic ones. The adapter wouldn't be something I would probably want.

Don't you mean "prabably," Brucie?
