Assuming the model tables are reliable, we're looking at mid 20s at 6am in Hyannis... then dropping off to teens... Water temp reading says 34 degrees in Buzz Bay... That's Hot for sure
Got a very serious case of cabin fever as well... just hoped to see more "red" across this Sunday's forecast... O. |

Icesailing, what's the ice like this year? Anyone seeing clear ice or ponds freezing on the Cape? |

ice has been bad this year. all the powder wrecked it. guys in lower mass like the cape area are saying they are having some luck. my iceboard sits in the basement waiting for the right conditions. maybe next year. on a more possitive note my formula board waits for spring. oh yeah...... |

And we've cycled through temperatures from 5 degrees to 50 degrees to 5 degrees again, which means everything has turned to ice and snow and frozen slush. This morning it was 7 degrees but should be 47 by this afternoon.
Oh, wait. I'm cleaning pools in Florida -- I have no idea what Cape Cod weather's like. |
