Hi all,
are there any good places in CT or NY (close to CT) for windsurfing?
Regards,

Im surprised you havent gotten some feedback yet. There have been some posts in the past about the CT/NY area. I worked at Millstone Nuke Plant once and sailed Niantic Bay. On a south wind the swells and waves were good with fairly warm water even in late fall. Blacks Point has places to park for good sandy launches.

Go to Wind & Forecasts, click the East Coast box and then the smaller areas. Check the shops, schools, & clubs. You should be able to get some good info.

calf pasture in Norwalk CT is where alot of people launch.(Exit 16 off I95) I sail of the public and private beaches in Rowayton, CT. The southwesterly is decent in the summer.

Long Beach in Stratford (Exit 33) works very nicely in NW winds (one of the few CT beaches where NW is sideshore instead of offshore.)
