so i had to cut my west coast wave sailing trip off early in mid june (santa cruz). I'm now hoping to take a few weeks off in August to make up for it and was wondering what the Orgeon coast wave sailing was like in mid to late August was like.. Thanks !

Hey jd
Mid to late August still has potential for a high degree of pimpiness. As you approach Sept things start to dwindle but we seemed to have a late start so maybe the season will extend into Sept. I sure hope so....after a ragin start to July, we've hit a quiet spell.
As always...the farther South you go typically brings higher probability for sun and wind along the coast.
