The RS:X class isn't my own personal cup of tea, but hey it's still our sport... These trials decide who will represent the US in China next year for windsurfing.
In the men, the favorite is Ben Barger, but there is a serious wildcard now as Mike Gebhardt has come out of retirement (age 41) to see if he can make it to another olympics (he already has silver and bronze olympic medals).
The trials are being held down in Long Beach, CA. The first races were run today (Oct. 6), and racing will continue until the 14th.
