Just got an update from Julia.
We're at $4,479 as of the moment. This does not include $150 that we are sending from donations that came in through the shop. Thanks everyone.
I also received a note from Naish that they are contributing $200. That may take a little longer. Thank you NAISH!
Remember, anyone who has contributed should stop by for a glass of wine!

You can get stickers from me (I am Sergey, champagne CR-V with 2-board gorge rax on top, I park mid-lot) or from Boardsports School shop (in the lifeguard tower in the park on the beach). Boardsports School shop hours are 12pm-6pm Sat and Sun. |
I just wrote out a check for $100 and put in a stamped envelope to go in tomorrow's mail. I use PayPal for my business and they charge a fee of about 3% so if people have the time, it is better to send a check for all the $ to go to the cause. (unless PayPal doesn't charge a fee for charity... which somehow I doubt...)
Anyway, I usually sail at Palo Alto when there is enough water and wind down here. I'll print out some of the flyers and hand them out if you can send me a sticker to put on my van so people ask about it. Send me an email at KirkLindstrom2007 "at" ix.netcom.com and I'll send you my address if that is OK.
