That's Boggsman on the NorthWave. He went out on a 4.7 on account of he had to park way down the road and carry his gear. He made the wrong choice of sail size, but he stayed out a long time despite.

Post more please, even if it's of you.

Tomales rocks! I used to drive by Grassy Point every day on the way to work until I went to grad school in Davis (at least Sherman isn't too far). As a surfer I used to curse the wind, but I would always see people jamming across the bay. I got tired of trying to surf blown out Dillon and started sailing, now it's my board sport of choice! I'll be moving back this summer (just in time for the fog) for more TB/Dillon sessions.

Thanks to all for the inspiration!

PS Don't worry about the cow poop coming off of the ranch on the other side of the highway...Its certified organic!

Actually if it's the sailor heading out, that is me Smile It's a 2006 Northwave ZX and you don't see too many of those in the bay area....

I have a bunch, let me look at them and shrink them down a bit more Smile

Yeah, now I remember, there were two sailors on blue and black Northwaves. It makes sense, when my wife comes to the beach with her camera, I tell her to take pictures of me. Can't have enough of those vanity shots Smile

John,

I was asked what kind of camera and lens you used. My wife (the photographer) wants to know.

if you download the photo, you can open it up and look at the EXIF data... looks like a digital rebel w/ a 300mm lens...

That's a nice picture of me coming in on the 3.6 NR. I think I was sheeted out a bit. Yesterday I woke up with a swollen tendon behind my knee. Is that a bad thing?

Well it looks like you were given the answer, but it's a Canon Xti Rebel with a 130 - 300 zoom lens. The picture taken was in "action mode" which means the servo is on and it takes multiple pictures. I didn't do the shooting, but that is how I set it up when I gave it to my G/F Smile

I think a swollen tendon is a bad thing Sad But interesting. I had issues with my right foot when it was in the back strap. My calf got pretty tight at times almost to the point where I was worried about cramping. It's interesting cause I just came back from 9 days of sailing in Margarita without any issues and I sailed for longer sessions.

I'm not sure if it was cold related, or the amount of force I was using to stay on the board in those conditions Smile
