John, if you have any pictures of a blonde guy on a NP Expression with a giant JP on it, could you send 'em to me?

wow. John, the guy who sails NTower with black/blue ZX is also named John. He and I also wear neoprene caps, and the board in the pic is white, so is mine. Crazy that there are three black.blue Northwave ZX'ers

Hi Gang,

Susan and I sailed Dillon, (3.7 and 74 liter for Michael/ 2.8 and 58 liter for Susan). The waves had been blown a bit flat so were only thigh to waist high but it was fun in a wildly powered sort of way.

We were the only windsurfers out (at least at 5 pm when we launched) and it would have been WONDERFUL to have company. Dillon can be a like a great all terrain park when it's working, with fun onshore waves and smooth sections between.

Can we coax the Tomales crowd? I think you can actually get there faster because more time is spent on 101 north before cutting across at Petaluma but I'm not certain about this.

Michael

wait, maybe we don't want more people at our secret spot...ignore this post

btw, Edward, were you at Dillon earlier?

Hey Boggs,

That is interesting. Actually if you had a bigger picture of the board, there is a stripe across the front, I think it's orange, but other than that pretty white.

I thought when I had the sails made I would be unique for a while. So much for that theory. BUT the good news is that I have a 4.2, 4.7, and a 5.2 that all look exactly the same Smile It drives my friends crazy since they can't tell what I'm on unless they ask Smile I went with a 511 for my 5.7. That has HUGE bottom end and I sail that when others are on 6.0 - 6.5.....

I've been meaning to get over to Chrissy, but I live 2 minutes from the Marina Bay part of Pt. Isabel, so it takes a lot to pull me away Smile

Sorry Tim,

I looked and couldn't find an NP sails (with a JP on them), but blond hair??? You must have been the only sailor without an neoprene cap or helmet on......

Hi Michael.

Wasn't at Dillon. Haven't been since an infamous little incident 3 years ago. Broke a mast solo a mile out. Dumped the rig and had to paddle in for 2 hrs 15 mins, thought my number was up! Made it at the last moment to the end of the beach before getting swept into Tomales bay. Was lucky, incoming tide.

We were North of Stinson. Kelp was a real pain, we need another storm to clear it out. Ryan sailing with us said he got catapulted a couple of times hitting the kelp beds.

How was getting out at Dillon, should have been bot an issue with smaller wind swell?

Edward,

I think we were there the day you broke down at Dillon...I remember you coming in very exhausted. I think or I heard the story and now it's a fake memory.

Anyway, getting out at Dillon was no problem...you should come back!

You are right, I will sail Dillon again.

I avoided and sail Tuba, Daves, Waddell, Gazzas and Palo as whitey never stops by, only at Dillon.........

Plus Tom assures me that Whitey heads for summer retreat from Feb till November!

Funniest event last Sunday was they were having a laugh at me as teh last time I managed to forget my base and had to do a 30 min round trip back to get it.

Tom rigs and says I'll be first out, then we hear "s&(t my harness". Except this time I parked closer to the non poison oak 20 minute trail. 40 mins hike later he was back with his harness!

All in a days fun!

Victor:

You didn't state if the surfer was from Minnesota. That makes all the difference you know!!
