Cabrillo Beach Enduro, Register Now!

Dear racers, sponsors and friends of the Cabrillo Beach Enduro,

We are proud to announce the launch of our new www.cabrillobeachenduro.com website, created courtesy of WindJunkie.net with graphics design by Hauser Advertising, Inc.

As of today, you can register online for the event, which will take place on July 19 and 2O 2008 at Cabrillo Beach in San Pedro, Southern California. In addition to the classic windsurf Enduro race format that so many enjoyed last year, participants can look forward to a terrific line up of prizes, including a free round trip to Baja, Mexico, Stand Up Paddle Board demos, and a post-race party on July 20th.

The Cabrillo Beach Enduro is sponsored by the Cabrillo Beach Boosters and a number of major national and local organizations including the Cabrillo Beach Yacht Club, Dakine, Ezzy, iWinsdurf.com, Sailworks, Windsurfdeal.com, KA Sail, Captain Kirk's Windsports, Streamlined, Mauna Kai Hawaii, Chinook, MauiSails, Goya, RRD, Long Beach Windsurf Center, South Shores Meat Shop, Albertsons, Baja Fish, The Crowne Plaza Los Angeles Harbor Hotel and Godmothers Saloon.

We encourage all windsurfers familiar with outer beach conditions to sign up, with no prior racing experience required. A skippers meeting is scheduled before the race to provide basic race instruction for novices and detailed sailing instructions will be communicated prior to the event.

Anyone interested can download more information and a registration form on our www.cabrillobeachenduro.com site. Early registration fees for racers are $30 with an additional $12 per guest to the post-race party. This event is free and open to all non racers (party excepted) and has been designed to be great fun to watch from the beach. We invite all beach goers to come share in the excitement and enjoy the live music towards the end of the afternoon.

The Cabrillo Beach Enduro is a not-for-profit, volunteer-based project spearheaded in association with the Los Angeles Department of Recreation and Parks with all proceeds to be reinvested into the beach and beach-related programs. With the “Enduro” we celebrate Cabrillo Beach as the best windsurfing spot in Southern California and as an exceptional playground for all water sports lovers.
