I wanted to share some of the shots I got yesterday of the impromptu contest at Waddell that Whit Poor organized. It was a beautiful day for a drive down the coast and the wind filled in enough to get in some good sailing.

it was indeed a fun contest with a total of 11 competitors, which is great! Eventhough the wind & waves were not in our favor we all managed to pull it off. 3 thumbs up for Whit for the great initiative. We should certainlly do this more often. A complete single elimination, plus a loosers round were done. Correct me if I am wrong, but the final 4 where:

1) Whit
2) Bryce
3) Ian
4) Arnout

i didn't compete but had some fun watching, and sailing in between the heats.
Some backLoops on the beginning and fairly high table top around 5.15pm.
Waddell is such a good place, clear waters and blue sky, do it again.

I came in late (due to babysitting duties..what a pain) and just did the looser's round. It was a fun event and a great workout Smile
