Like those ones they placed at the launches along the levee in the delta?

Check with construction supply companies . Not like Home Depot but contractor supply companies that supply things like saw blades, concrete release,safety equipment etc.Google sand bags. WS

There is a sand bag filling station at the entrance to the Palo Alto sailing area. Not sure if they have free "bags" but there's a mountain of sand there for the taking. I can check later this week I have a customer down there.

Question is, what would happen if those were laid down on San Pablo bay muck. We have a secret spot that works great on a medium to high tide, but is too exposed otherwise. A few yards of hard bottom would increase our sailable days there. Case in point, last three days were sailable if there had been a bit more water.
