Well, I sacrificed myself in an effort to get a few good shots. However, the shot gods weren't smiling so much today. The waves were quite good but the wind on the inside rather light, making it a bit tricky getting out. A few got a few good waves. Once I decided to put the camera away, and hit the water myself, the clouds moved in, the waves backed off, and the wind abated quickly. My highest and best use for the day was taking pictures. I'm not real thrilled with them either. I think a lot had to do with the lack of wind on the inside making the sailors entirely dependent on the juice from the waves. Sometimes that was enough. Anyway, here's a few pics.

Indeed. That was cool of you to provide him with a bit of first aid. It was a good show of character.

That said, I don't know if he would've stood still for the pose. I hope that he didn't try to fix that at home. Without stitches in that gash, he was asking for a large scar. Heck, even with...

All those in favor of editing out these pictures, say "aye". You'd better do it quickly, as I'm almost out the door.

yeah, you guys better be careful what pics you post here, or else you might end up with an "informal contest" at your venue LOL Laughing

better just to show huge sails in flat water crowded w/ surfers and floaters.
