This is the real "Q", as I mentioned in another post. He, as many of us, has been moving closer to being a shadow of his former self. He's 14 years old, and has been a great companion. If I ever get another dog, it too will be an Australian Shepherd. Here he is in his prime, keeping a close eye out for his buddy, the one he knows as the "roo-doo". Actually, it's a squirrel. I won't get into where that name came from, as it might give the right impression about my level of what some may refer to as immaturity. With any further adieu, heeerreeee's The "Q".

Looks like a great dog. A dog that you can rollerblade with has got to be a smart dog, otherwise they'll really mess you up.
It's always a bummer, losing a dog. Sorry.

No, he's not a mini-Aussie. In that picture he was actually over 60 lbs. My soon-to-be-ex-wife was interested in the mini-Aussies. They're cool dogs, but seemed even higher strung that full-sized Australians. Quig was never that high-strung, and pretty much trained himself.
Posting cat pictures would not be considered off-topic in this thread.

Have to see if I can get the wife to help me post a photo:
5 dogs, all are either Border Collie or Australian Shepard or mix of those.
3 are deaf, never know it, t hey act normal, I mean what dog comes when you call it anyway ? They do react to the porche lite, and take directions with hand signs.
Roxy, Cooper, Maverick, Lilly and Kona.
Kona windsurfs with me on a older Bic, the area in front of the mast has a DaKine surf board pad for him to grip.
He wears a float coat, Outward Hound.
He has his own sail, a 3.8 HotSails DAWG.
He is Red with blond and orange highlights.

CoreyLu made it to 13...she lost her leg at 10 but beat cancer for many years, and was always happy to be at the beach. She could run and swim with 3 legs as well as with 4. Quite possibly the 'best dog ever'.
Lucy is my new dog...rescued from the pound, and we're still working a lot on training and behaving. People say nice things like 'wow, she's got a lot of energy' and 'she's exuberant', but what they really mean to say is 'holy cow...she's crazy'. She has love and energy to spare. Just ask anyone at Crissy Field, as they duck and cover when she's around. My apologies to all who have had their picnics upended, their cars inspected from the inside out, or their nice pants jumped on...and also in advance to everyone who will experience 'Lucy-furr' extremely up close and personal. She's just telling you how happy she is to be part of the windsurfing community and not scavaging food off the street anymore... and we ARE working on it!!
