Boardsports School & Shop expanded summer hours>>>>

We are open on Mondays at Coyote so when you break stuff over the weekend you can get a quick fix. We also validate parking so free parking at Coyote if you come for 45 minutes or less to the shop

Here are our summer hours for June/July/Aug for all locations:

Alameda, Crown Beach Park:
Mon-Tues: retail sales & private lessons available by appointment
Wednesday: 3pm-7pm
Thursday: 3pm-7pm
Friday: 3pm-7pm
Sat-Sun: 10am-6pm


San Mateo, Coyote Point Park:
Monday: 1pm-7pm
Tues-Wed: retail sales & private lessons available by appointment
Thursday: 1pm-7pm
Friday: 1pm-7pm
Sat-Sun: 10am-6pm

Hey, is boardsports in berkeley closed for good? And if so, where do we go for equipment?

There is a lot of confusion about Boardsports and Boardsports School. Two years ago, Tom, who owned Boardsports sold the Berkeley Shop to a company called the Gear Guys and sold us the School. We started selling kiteboarding equipment and some windsurfing equipment -while referring most winsurfing equipment to the Berkeley Guys. They went out of business and we then took over the old ASD shop and concession. We then started carrying full retail on all windsurfing, kiteboarding and stand-up paddling gear.

A partial list of brands we carry is below. We sell gear in San Mateo, San Francisco, and Alameda. The largest selection of gear is in San Mateo, but all gear can be found or delivered to San Francisco and Alameda as well.
