7:00 am: "North & East Bay: Berkeley seeing the upper teens but see hedge above. Pt. Isabel mid teens"
that seems pretty clear, right? In spite of the obfuscatory hedge, no wind. I will definitely ride my bike to work. |

I think the biggest lesson learned here is that kids out there are actually using condoms! Good to know. |

big wind @ tomales doesn't necessarily mean r&g will happen. if there is a sw/nw battle going on r&g can lose or it might come in very late.
also check the tide before you make the trip. you'll need at least 2'
lately it might be advisable to wear a hazmat suit and a have bathtub full of disinfectant for afterwards. marin sewer treatment plant is about 200 yards upwind of the launch. they say MOST of it is treated before they let it out. |

The cams are great, but are really a hindcast or a condition indicator, not forecasters. Casey Stengel said: "Never make predictions, especially about the future."
I should just drive my truck every day from Memorial Day to Labor Day, but:
I don't like to waste the gas
My ride is beautiful
If I don't, I can go for days with no exercise.
Yeah, I shouldn't look at the forecasts at all...they are just misleading. |

Two Things: STOP brow beating the forecasters! you all have been windsurfering for a a zillion years, Im sure you can figure it out yourself.
Secondly , Rod and Gun is a stinky craphole , immediately downwind of where all of Marin's crappers empty out.

Oh yeah, two things:
1) they're "predictions" are worse than useless
2) it's fun |

Andy ,I agree with your rap. My favorite forecast "funny" is when they change the forcast after the fact, effectively changing the forecast to a pastcast.
