USGS Survey Work at Crissy on Friday

A team from the U.S. Geological Service will be conducting a depth survey of the area just off the beach at Crissy Field on Friday between ~10 AM and 2PM. They will be operating from two specially fitted PWCs. Odds are that they will be finished before most windsurfers and kitesurfers arrive for their sessions, but please give them a little room and be patient if you are on the water early and that should make it easier for them to finish up and clear out. The USGS study relates to the artificial wetland and the ways that it affects the nearby beaches.
