The graph for today 6/17/08 looked amazing, looked like the average was in the low 20s from 3pm till 7pm. Damn, some days working sucks more than other days. Was there any swell?

dude, it seems like you guys have had a great season at Leo. Is the sensor accurate? I haven't sailed at the ocean for the past 2.5 weeks in orange county. (Although I missed last friday/saturday). With the exception of a few days and one solid week.... seems like this spring and summer so far have been pretty terrible for us down here Sad. Anyone feel the same way or am I the only one????

Let's be honest. I was totally disappointed with Leo on Monday. Yes, there were waves, but the wind sucked for those of us that like plane up and move about a bit. Now, Saturday had much much better wind, and it was definitely more to my liking.

By the way, C Street was quite fun yesterday (with waves too), and it again looks promising for today.

Leo has been crappy all month and we're now entering the offseason.
The wind has been marginal (big sails >7.0)
No waves in a long time.
The water is very choppy with a lot of kelp and very cold.
Stay local and don't waste gas Razz

and sharks, big nasty, mean white sharks!

Not to mention the nightmarish parking situation, made worse during swells by the numerous surfers, windsurfers, kiters, picnic-ers, nose-pickers, and shutter-clickers. Hey, I resemble four of those categories. I'll bet you guys can guess which four. Hint: I don't kite and I hate sandy food.

Summertime at it's best. I'm not sure which is worse, parking in the break-in zone or across PCH and having to cross 4 lanes of traffic with gear and drivers going 60+.
