board repair on peninsula? [SFBay Area]

are there any board repair folks here on the peninsula, preferrably south of SFO ?

Jeff, The ASD guys still do repairs from their home base around san mateo somewhere. Give Boardsports a call and they can get you in touch with them would be my suggestion.

Helm Sports also has a board repair department. I have never had any work done by them so I cant vouch for the quality, but it's worth giving them a call.

Thanks for all the info folks. Yeah, I would prefer to have the ASD guys do stuff for me. I can personally attest to the fine quality of Bob's work. I'll give Boardsports a call.

actually just remembered that if you look in the classifieds on here under services/ding repair... John formerly of ASD has an ad there with his contact info.

doh! yeah, I just searched thru the forum and found a pointer to his ad in the "Services" section of the "buy/sell" tab on this site. This may also work..

Plus I did call Rebecca @ boardsports coyote, and she said John is picking up boards from their site tomorrow (thu). I don't as yet know whether boardsports charges a premium for the pickup service. John's ad (at this time) indicates that he will pickup/delivery but for a fee.

No mention of what Bob is up to from what I can find with Google. I thought he'd be the one doing this stuff because he's the one who built and repaired my old used ASD course board.

Bob and John rock. Every surf board, except my SUP, is shaped by Bob. I'm a devotee and have been for years.

Bob shapes some amazing shapes, pity he isn't around here anymore.
