Paid admission for The Gorge Games

I don't know if anyone else has noticed but it will cost you to see Gorge Games events and concerts this year. A 4 day ticket will cost you $35. Count me out.

I am with you. At $35, and I have a family, it feels more like a somewhat expensive outing to Portland, than a local event. Maybe that's the intent, though. Regardless, it bugs me a bit that I buy a pass for the Event Site up-front, and now am I excluded from my site for a for-profit venue.

I will get over it quickly.

Maybe we should ask for 5$ a day for the days that are passes don't work

Can anyone confirm this, I read it that the $35 is for access to the "adventure village" but all the events are free to spectators.

And all the music. Seeing Storm Large & the Balls here in HR is worth at least half of that $35. As anyone who saw her at Savinos a few years back will attest. Count me in!

Their printed program says " The ALL-ACCESS 4 DAY PASS ($35) gets you entry to every Gorge Game Sports and Entertainment Event, including Adventure Village and Kids Action Village, PLUS: FREE SHUTTLES to remote sports events sites, PRIORITY SEATING & ACCESS for many events.

That sounds like charging to get into into events to me.
