Thanks to all you friends of our beloved son Damien Winters. We were blessed to have him as our son and friend for thirtyfive wonderful years.
Damien died, or "passed on" doing what he loved to do, and he was so happy. He always lived his life to the fullest...wheather skiing, sail boarding, playing tennis or horseback riding, mountain biking, or hiking the mountains in Montana or Oregon. His zest for life also included a deep concern for the environment, and for the wellbeing of all people...and Junior his cat (now living in MT wih us).
We want to thank his good friend Phil Sisson, (who is so kind and helpful to us now) and to Scott Ringgenberg, and Dr. Lawrence Cheng for their valient efforts to try and save Damien...God bless you...true "Good Samaritans", and to his good friend Jennifer. Damien was buried yesterday in a lovely cemetary, about 30 feet from the edge of a cliff next to and looking down on the Bitterroot River, with the Bitterroot mountains in the back ground.
We miss him terribly, but know he is with God, and Damien would want us all to go on with our lives. Thank you again for all the very kind thoughts, love, Hank and Jeannette Winters, Hamilton, MT |
