Lots of places around. Mostly involve some driving. Pleasure Bay, which I'm sure you know about is one. Duxbury is another good spot, but nobody will talk to you there! Go to the Cape. BTW, Lake Quanapowitt in Wakefield is a decent, safe, storm sailing spot.

My blog is more of a diary than a resource but if you poke around you can find pictures and descriptions of many local sites, Pleasure Bay, Lake Q, Duxbury, etc. Just skip the boring parts.

yeah were tring to get as many people to pleasure bay as we can. it shuts down in the summer in the inner area do to lifeguard rules. memorial day to labor day. but its a grat place for flat water formula and speed runs. great in a south west. also nahant beach in a westerly to north west wind. you have to go to the # 12 area after the restrooms but at least you can sail all summer there.

Right, I second Pleasure Bay. Even when the wind is marginal and summer rules are on, it is still a great spot to get together and play around after work. Also, the best for storm times in the midst of the week.
