HomeValley CAN be harder given it's unusual launchs ......

It's earned a BAD reputation as being "Hole Valley", for good reason.... sailing here is a beast.... logistical nightmare. Worst launch site in the Gorge by far.... kiters worst nightmare. When are they going to get another launch site located in this area of the river that actually has enough east / west space for elbow room?

So now you dudes are picking on the Event Site again? The Event Site is picked on too much. I sailed there long time ago, and for a beginner place it's cool. I mean, what else is there? Dougs is a shithole. The only reason gals go to Dougs is because it sounds so non-threatening, like Mike's (Hard Lemonade). But dodging trains?

The Event Site is a friendly place where all the regulars hang out. Like Cheers used to be (on Tv, remember?). It even has these cement bar stools with burnout has-been geezers sitting on one or two of them (Norm Petersons). True, there is no Sam Malone at the helm of a picnic table, closest to that would be Dan (trailer guy). And don't forget the fin guy who never stops talking (Clifford Clavin). I suppose the troll could be Carla, and me a big fat Kirstie Alley. from what I've heard said about me. And that leaves the couples (The Cranes) at the end of the bar which would be Bruce and Dale, of course.

So when the river takes everything you got, and taking a break from all your mowing and failed jibes would help a lot, go hang out at the Event Site. They're always glad you came!
