You always have the ability to plan your own schedule.
For me, right now, it's weekends Monday thru Friday, and weekday on Sat.
Kinda alternate Sundays with some AM work so's I can sail after 2PM.
Of course, off work by 2 on Sat.
Obviously, some sacrifices have to made to find your own life style.
Nothing is perfect in life, so you gotta get by with what you gots.....

If I believed that, I'd:
1. Still be a corporate wanker on the east coast.
2. Have been forced to move more often, and with far less choice in locations, than I did in the Air Force.
3. Have never discovered the high desert SW, which I consider heaven on Earth.
4. Have never discovered my highest passions for 20 years of my life: dirt biking and snowmobiling (same sport, cleaner dirt).
5. Have gone nowhere with my next passion -- WSing -- if I had found it at all.
6. Not have garnered every job I ever seriously sought, nor exposed my wife to her fabulous careers.
7. Not have retired at 45.
8. Not have moved to the Gorge.
9. Not have been able to play on some toy or another 4-5-6 days a week even while employed full time.
10. Have acquiesced to permanent chemo treatment, destroying my quality of life forever.
11. Thus not be in the best physical condition I've seen since my 30s ... and I was a major jock then.
And many more.
20. Be the classic Democrat.

The bull's at our front door. We can let him run over us, or we can castrate the bastard, saddle him up, and ride him into the sunset.

Hey, iW ... how come my posts take a minute or two to appear, and appear twice most of the time? Both problems are new.

This one appeared immediately and only once.
