|
|
Greetings Bay Area Sailors,
WindSurfing mag is in town, and wants to say hi!
Drop by the Cal Sailing Club at the Berkeley Marina on Sunday afternoon (8/24) for some sailing and post-sesh beers'n barbecue (or pizza, if it's windy and we get too wrapped up to go get the barbecue supplies!) I'll make sure we have a cooler or two filled with ice-cold beverages.
I'm only in the Bay for a week, and would love to meet as many sailors as possible - hear what you guys think of the mag, what you like, don't like, and just hear your sailing stories and stoke.
Beers, etc. will be at six, so that there’s time for ya’ll to go sailing somewhere else if it’s windy there.
We'll also be working on a story on the Cal Sailing Club, so if you're a member, please come by to potentially join in the photoshoot - I'd like to include a group shot that shows a lot of Cal Sailing Club members. Hope to see you there!
Sunday (8/24)
Sailing: All afternoon if it's windy...
Barbecue: 6 PM, Cal Sailing Club

Were you guys around Berkeley like Wed or Tuesday?
I thought you were, but what do I no.
Tuesday was gusting to 28 or so, good from 3:30 to 7.
Wed closer to gusts of 24, but still pretty good about the same start time but dying by 5:45.
Today who knows, as NW gradient is starting to hit the coast (bad normally for Berkeley), good for Westerly sites. |

hey josh!
cool to see you at dport yesterday, and compare bodily damages. I am out for a while with a sprained foot...
Hopefully you got some good pictures, it was pretty big out there.
Keep up the very good work! Your gear tests are great! I'd say write more stuff about the SF bay area and local windsurfers.
Aloha,
Arnie |

Hi Josh,
Since you made it to Davenport did you stop by and meet Joe Dihl and check out his digs? Your mag did a nice article on him a short while back.
Your magazine should do an article on Jane and Rebecca.
Enjoy the bay area while here.
