The Stevenson sailors are great awesome people and Bobs Beach is a fine place. We all have our own priorities on the water but we all need to practice safety. It's a pretty safe sport for as crucial as it may seem. I have noticed a small unpleaseant attitude in the Windsurfing community which never was there before. The group speed sailors are very nice guys. I could not tell you how many times they were more than helpful letting me borrow fins or help with my jibes over the years. We all also have to recognize the increase in Kites on the water, and respect is the most fundamental solution. I have never had an issue once with a Kiter, or a speedsailor. The people (women/men Isobars no sexism here) at Stevenson are very awesome sailors, and every once in a while something out of the ordinary happens. And it maybe for the most part be unintentional. We all make mistakes. But being responsible, respectful, and being safe are some good Gorge Values. Smile

"Speed Sailors" are not at Stevenson. You must have encountered one of the tourists or kooks trying to impress someone.

Please don't lump the Lyle Speed Sailors in with the goof balls at Stevenson.

No, it was one the Lyle speed sailors who had come up to Stevenson when there was no wind anywhere else. The guy is a fool.

BTW, sorry for the multiple posts earlier; they didn't show up on my browser until today. Weird. How does one delete an older posting?
