ADIRONDACK SAILBOARDING CHAMPIONSHIPS

(Despite the name, all sailors including first time racers are welcome)

Date: Saturday Sept 6, 2008, rain date Sept 13. Decision to go to rain date will be made by 5 PM Friday, September 5 . This is earlier than in the recent past as we hope to have some people traveling.

Fee: $20 ($15 for US Sailing members)

Includes continental breakfast on Saturday, Coffee and Soda for Saturday lunch and awards. Bring your own lunch. (refrigerator available). We will have hot dogs, burgers, etc for dinner courtesy of Adirondack Board Sailing Club. Dinner for non registered sailors $8

Camping: Guests may camp at SLSC at NO CHARGE. You are permitted to bring alcoholic beverages but NO PETS!!!!! (I would love to make an exception if someone had a lion or tiger that feeds exclusively on geese.)

Classes: Open, Novice, Women's

Friday Sept 6 3-8 PM Open Sailing and campers checking.
Saturday Sept 7 10: AM Rigging and Continental Breakfast
11:00 AM skippers meeting and races until about 4:30
Sunday Sept 8 Sailing on your own (SLSC is using markers and boats for the regular Sunday race.)

Notes to guests. This event is a fun day and a good friendly environment for anyone who has never raced to join the novice class. We all started sometime and won't laugh at you, too much. Saratoga Lake Sailing Club is Six Miles from Saratoga Springs and twenty miles from Lake George offering non-sailors a wide variety of activities. Come join us for a great weekend.
