This sailing year for myself was limited. It seemed like a lame year for me. Did you all have a great Gorge summer? I did notice that Sundays were always ripping this year. Smile

Best wind in at least 20 years, according to many locals. Let's hope the first half of Sept isn't representative of the rest of the season; it's got some lost time to make up. Forecasts (and yesterday's and today's wind) indicate it may do so.

Good March/April, huge run off, colder than normal - fantastic June, many 3.7 -4.2 days, mostly Dougs and points east - good July with winds returning to the central Gorge, hit and miss August with a couple of epic days at The Wall - very good for kiters w/lots of light wind days, funky 1st half of September without much wind, but yesterday/today rocked at The Hatch/Dougs!!

On balance, pretty damn good summer, but I can recall a few windier ones (like 27 out of 30 days windy). Overall --- no complaints and lets hope for a windy October Smile

Yeah, July and August were pretty slim out east ... only 30 days at Arlington had 5.2 or better. Wink
We put 2-4 normal years' worth of use on our 3.5s in just May/June alone.
Let's hope every year is chilly if that's what it takes.

Our trip to the ditch this year for catalog photos was full of 5.XX days. Coming from FL, that's plenty good. 2nd Wind folks said that June/July were rickter. August was fairly sedate. Happy sails.
