Some sort of east wind for the rest of the week.

15-25 according to NOAA for today - It looks like my lunch hour plans will have to change!

What about it Papa, you said don't invite me back unless it's windy. Thursday around lunch time is looking good.

If you or anyone else comes to Pleasant Bay, the Orleans side public landing road might offer a better launch. The paved road keeps everything nice and clean.

You know what Bruce (of Falmouth), the wind guru was most accurate today.

Interesting, they aren't always so accurate for specific spots. Too bad you didn't get a lot of wind.

I just got fouled up and sent speedy Bruce a long winded message about Pleasant Bay, instaed of posting here.

Coming off of Pleasant Bay Road, take a left instead of right, the landing road is goes down to the water just as the road (2Cool goes up a hill (you'll pass close to the water first). Both landings are not too far apart. You can check out either pretty quick. My take is that the Orleans side will be better with true east wind

A summary of the message - The nearby "CUT" offers great waves, I just haven't seem to hit when others have been around. For me, it aint the place to sail alone.

I hope to do it from 12 to 2:30.

I don't know how that smiley face was substituted for an 8, but I hope you all get the picture.

9:00pm, signing off - pray for wind - Friday is looking big too. Sailing in the rain is also in my bag of tricks.
