The "olde dependable" mooring line seems to have finally given up it anchor yesterday evening.
Tying up to exit at the north pipe stand, my entire rig and board started to zip downwind. Attempting to avoid getting crashed on the rocks or tangled in the line and/or possible fishing hooks in it, I was unable to salvage the line and it floated off towards Berkeley.
Shout out to John the mooring master for the good work of successfully putting the line in place for over a month of daily use. Thanks.
Ross.
p.s. The wind and swell were good. It seems a mini-marine surge took place at about 4:30. |
