I'm new to iwindsurf and trying to sort out the forcast information. Can anyone suggest the correct links??? I''m really looking for the forcast for wind this weekend in the Gorge; assuming east winds are the best bet, so Stevenson, Rooster Rock, ...

Thanks,
Alex

Now that the human forecasts have ended for the season go to any Gorge page and try these links:

Pressure Report

Computer Forecasts
> PG-Windbow Ext
> PG-Windbow Short
> Gradient Animation

Forecasting easterly winds is relatively easy.

Not be be obnoxious, but why did the human forecasts end for the season? Is the season over?

I wasn't paying attention to the wind for the last two weeks because I knew it was iffy, but there must be a couple of good days left before ski season.

Iffy? Season over? As forecast, Saturday blew like hell all day with glassy swell running 10 feet, and today blew like hell much of the day with swell to 6 feet, with blue skies, warm enough that at least one guy was completely comfortable in a vest and board shorts. It's like summer but without the crowds or sweaty rigging. Mid-Sep had 5 straight days of very strong winds too warm for full suits. I usually sail until roughly Thanksgiving and I don't do gloves or booties. iW provides a long list of sources; I'll take my forecasts anywhere I can find 'em, including NOAA and iW's blue line.
