While not exactly 43, more like 18, it was still sailable. Nearly calm on the inside but good wind at the kelp all the way out with a foot of chop and the occasional 3ft roller that was fun to bank a turn off. Mitch, bassist Dave and myself were the only ones out except for the occasional kiter making a down wind run. Some of the boys were up at county too. |

That's Tokyo on the left, the 1035 is is the center of the Pacific. Today (Sat.) should be pretty much due North, and slowly turning offshore by Sunday night-Monday. _________________ Spennie the Wind Junkie

1035 in the center has no influence!
P.S. North is straight OFFSHORE AT LEO.
1036 (up from 1035) east of Vancouver will give offshore wind! |
