Things have been kinda lame for the last 2 weeks. If you believe the NOAA reports - Friday, Saturday & Sunday look promising.

I'm ready to take my old "girl friend" out for a date.

The guy who me got into sailing had a High-Tech. They were great boards. That one looks well perserved.

I happy with what I have for now. For $150, it's worth someone else taking a look at it. Shape and rocker are imporatant. Mine has a flatter rocker than a wave, which suits my chop riding interest.

According to Dick Albert on channel 5, Saturday might be pretty good.

The forecast is still looking good for the weekend. Anybody coming to the outer Cape?

Actually, I paid $200 for my Hi-tech at SailWorld a year ago last spring. However, it was a Nostalgia purchase. If I had the Francs, I'ld buy a modern Tabou ( a la Matt P.) at the drop of a hat. The new boards are definitely an improvement. However, Mike, that's a real gem. It's always a question of how athletic you are. Make sure you have a couple of sails to match it (ten years or so old now). To quote Phil Mann, they don't make them like they used to. By the way, Ron, what happened to the old footstraps? Are you convinced the new ones are better? I put an old pair of Mistral straps on my Hi-tech and have recently modified them. They are soft, but rather forgiving in high winds. Finally, is that a slotted fin on that Haut glass? Whatever, I may be down your neck of the sandbar this weekend.
Mike, have you done the crossing yet? I still consider it. Today, I was walking down by your summer place and thinking about how easy it would be. We could make it a group effort, a promotion or a party. By the way, this is not the time to sell your board. I just bought one for $25 that similar in quality to yours. Wait until the economy is better (in the spring) and again in the spring.

You can't be talking about the sandbar on the VT side of LC?

As for the economy...not sure whether it'll be better in the spring, but then again, the board will sell much better in the spring Smile

I'll be looking for wind & waves but I don't know where yet. There are so many good wave spots in NE wind.

I'm leaning towards Fogland for this weekend. Most likely Saturday.

Now, they seem to be backing off the forecasts. In fact those for yesterday and today were duds.

Speaking of duds, big guy, I see that a dud named JohnWalsh has been evicted from boards.co.uk.

What in the world did you do to accomplish that? Are they playing games with you again, slick?
