Here's the extended forecast for Wednesday by meteorologist Ryan Getchis
>>Mass waking to cold rain and strong N winds reaching mid thirties for the Cape with some higher gusts possible. Upper twenties for MA north coast. Low twenties for CT and RI late in the day. This is a very cold air mass that will mix well to surface-bitter cold! Temps reaching freezing overnight/early morning<< If your bicept hasn't healed by now, Ron, perhaps you can find the cure out there in the beneficial waters of Pleasant Bay on Wednesday. |

Brucie, we've heard about Joe the Plumber ad nauseam.
Are we to hear from Joe the Sailor to the same degree? |

Any comments on Pleasure Bay on a North wind? What would be the next best location - closest to Pleasure Bay? Thanks for any responses. |

It looks too big for me. A good day to stay inside and work for a change.

That Sunday forecast has gone from barely sailable (for some of us at 40 mph, to nearly sailable at 10 to 13 mph in Boston. Oh well... |

Looks like Saturday is the day. An odd ball SE wind. My plan is Kalmus 12 to 3 and then race home to join the local annual Halloween Parade.

I was out Saturday for a short session after a ten day lay off. Any temporary delusions I have been harboring about these wind sports being like a walk in the park were dispelled in those gusty conditions. Now I'm seeing conflicting reports for tomorrow (Tuesday) but may try it again. However, it's looking like my windsurfing season on the Cape will end soon with somewhere between 65 and 70 days on the water, the most I have ever had in a year. |

Brucie, who are you kidding? Your "temporary delusions" go back about 58 years. |
