The levee is now open again in Texas City. Looks better than in recent memory. Vegetation is all gone, large "new beach" area at the windsurf/kite area. Deep water launch looks the same, minus the vegetation. Can't wait to test the waters! |

Went last week and it was great to be back. There is now a huge sandy beach. Be careful out there as there are still a few things floating around (boards, bushes, etc.). Not a nuisance...just take care.
