And you thought the fishermen were tough.

Instead of getting reeled in by fish hooks you can now rip your fin box out on the roof of a newly parked Jag in the bay.

Or it could have been that some poor new windsurfer said "wow Rebecca and Jane charged me so much for new gear I had to drop my Jaguar in first".....

Or the economies so bad people will go to any lengths to save on airport parking.

FYI - no bodies seen.

There must have been an adventure to get the car where it is now. Certainly a mystery of sorts.

Shocked

That southbound curve on Airport Blvd. snags an unsuspecting car or 2 per year.
Last year's victim was a Nissan Altima--Pics here Nobody hurt, thankfully.

This car looks particularly far out and it's turn with the hood toward the direction it came from. That's pretty impressive.

Huh, a car or 2 a year....hopefully it never happens during during the season with people in the H20!

One of you guys (I'm in SoCal) should go out there and tie a tetherball onto that thing if it's in your sailing area, keep you from scrubbing off a fin! Tetherballs are tough, weatherproof, yellow, and have a nice strong loop moulded right into the hide.

hehe... my brother was on the water polo team in college, and they traveled west to play in a tournament, and a family saw them at the airport w/ a big mesh bag full of water polo balls, and the lady pointed and said, "Look kids, a tetherball team!" Laughing

Seriously, I wouldn't want to run into that submerged car :-0 Maybe the kiters and freestylers can use it as a jib box?

Probably just a missed gybe, we all do it. There should be tetherball teams at the stoner olympics-was scheduled for 2003, then put off until 2005, due to organizational problems. Now it's on hold, but will definitely happen at some point.

The bottom line is that we need more cars to build an artificial shorebreak.. Alternatively we can sink a super tanker..that would work too.
