Sorry, I just thought saltwater floats about the same everywhere we go, so local location is not a barrier to communication.
Yes, at my 150 odd lbs., in NON PLANING conditions, I'd mostly choose a 150 + liter board.
In planing, more likely 85 or so.
Why windsurf when you have no chance of planing? Why use gear that doesn't allow you to plane?
OK, I'll go with JohnI's idea of thems wide, long, SUP style boards for wave sailing and overall barely planing winds.
