Anyone thinking about sailing around New England this weekend? I'm considering going tomorrow. It's going to be a little marginal for temp for me but it's doable. The sun might make it feel warmer than it is. _________________ http://waterloggedbyscooper.blogspot.com/ |

After last week, I took my beloved drysuit off and laid it over a chair at the back door. For what ever reason, it was tough extracting it out of a frozen snow drift yesterday morning. Now it's all washed and dried for the new year. Too damn cold for me this week!

Where do you go on the north shore in NW to W?
I'm in the Boston area so the north shore is no further than Cape Cod or R.I. but most of the north coast faces E so I usually don't think about sailing there unless it's an E wind. _________________ http://waterloggedbyscooper.blogspot.com/ |

Brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
Dude....you are twisted.
don't you want to enjoy the warm up for a day without sticking your head in the fridge?
I will try to let my Jones build up more, but I do admire you

Ride- Chandler Hovey Park looks closer to my house than Cape Cod. What kind of launch is it? Any Waves? Rocky? Thanks for the info. It sounds like your house is right on Salem Harbor. I'm jealous!
Igor- I may join you at Fogland, not sure. It is supposed to be a little warmer in the south. What time are you thinking of sailing?
Outcast- Yeah, I haven't been out on a really cold day yet this year, so I'm feeling optimistic, (or foolish). If I freeze my face off tomorrow, I may hibernate for a while. _________________ http://waterloggedbyscooper.blogspot.com/ |
