Woo-Hoo! The new season is approaching fast!
I'm jacked. Missed out a lot of last season. I'm out to get revenge.

Time to dust off those boards, start stretching and hit the water (in a few weeks).

Can't wait to try out some new gear too.

Hope to see y'all out there!

Greg

Yes, I can't wait!

Plus, anything to get the political shouting match off the top of the page.

I have to agree with JP. I got a great session yesterday, and today's forecast looks very promising with a west to northwest wind of 15-25 knots. Things can be a bit tricky though, because the wind this time of year is often only hitting certain select spots.

You guys are right. I just checked out the exploratorium roof cam, and Crissy is already blowing! I'm cringing because I can't go today. But maybe tomorrow!

Cheers,

Greg

Indeed. Crissy looked fab on the roof cam, with a few lucky sailors ripping it up! This has been the worst winter for sailing in the Bay Area that I have memory of; I only sailed 3 days since last November. I hope this marks a turning point and we can salute the new season soon! Time to load the mini van once again. Cheers, Juan

Crissy was nice today. The wind was very steady, and there wasn't a lot of boat or sailor traffic. 5.3 and 107l was the call for today and it was perfect.

Where was everybody?

FYI for folks who want to sail @ Coyote
Starting March 1, the park hours at Coyote extend 'til 6:00PM.
On March 8 (the start of Daylight Saving Time) the close time becomes 7:00 PM, and April 1st thru Labor Day the park is opened until 8:00 PM.

Coyote is a great place to sail! Plenty of room for everyone.
Come on down and enjoy the peninsula!
